Summary
DeBloatAI is a wellness app: you may provide face photos, meal photos, onboarding answers (goals, habits, body metrics), hydration and nutrition logs, and device identifiers so we can personalize routines and track progress. To produce AI insights, certain content is sent to an AI provider (currently Google Gemini). We do not sell personal data to data brokers or run ads inside the App based on your scans.
Information you provide
Profile & onboarding. Name, gender preference, weight, height, goals, sleep and activity answers, and similar questionnaire data used to personalize plans.
Face photos. If you use face scan, you capture or select an image of your face. Collection, use, sharing, retention, and deletion of this face data are described in the dedicated “Face data” section below. We do not access your full gallery in the background.
Meal photos. If you use food scan, you capture or select a meal image so the App can estimate calories, sodium, potassium, and related nutrition context.
Daily logs. Water intake, mineral/nutrition totals, exercise completion, and progress history you record in the App.
Support emails. If you contact us (for example via the support form), we receive whatever you choose to send. We use that only to respond and improve the App.
Information collected automatically
- Device identifiers. An anonymous device ID (and related identifiers) so logs, streaks, and plans can sync to your installation without requiring a traditional login.
- Motion / steps. If you grant motion permission, step counts may be used for daily activity context.
- Push tokens. If you enable reminders, we store a push token to send hydration or routine notifications.
- Analytics & crash data. We may use Firebase Analytics and similar tools to understand feature usage and reliability.
- Purchases. Subscription status is handled via Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We receive entitlement signals, not your full payment card details.
When we share data with a third-party AI service
When you run a face analysis, meal analysis, progress analysis, or routine-plan generation, DeBloatAI may send the content you provided to Google Gemini for processing. This may include personal data if it appears in your photos or profile context (for example: your face image, a meal photo, goals, or logged nutrition).
- What we send: the images and/or structured context needed for that request, plus an instruction prompt.
- Who receives it: Google (Gemini API).
- Why: to generate face, meal, progress, or routine insights.

Face data
DeBloatAI includes optional face-scan features that collect face data: photographs of your face that you choose to capture or upload, plus derived wellness scores and text insights generated from those photographs (for example puffiness, jawline, cheek, under-eye, skin, and inflammation scores). We do not use Apple’s TrueDepth camera, Face ID, or a biometric identity template. We do not use face data to uniquely identify you to third parties, for advertising, or to unlock the device.
1. Collection, intended uses, and disclosures
Collection. Face data is collected only when you use Face Scan (or a similar in-app flow) and grant camera or photo-library permission. We do not collect face images in the background.
Intended uses. We use face data solely to: (a) estimate facial puffiness and related wellness appearance metrics; (b) generate short, non-medical tips and progress comparisons; (c) show you scan history and streaks in the App; and (d) operate, secure, and debug those features. Face data is not used for medical diagnosis.
Disclosures. Face images and the minimum prompt/context needed for analysis are disclosed to our infrastructure and AI processors as described below. We do not sell face data, share it with data brokers, or use it for targeted advertising.
2. Sharing and retention
Sharing. When you allow AI sharing in the App, a face image (and related scan context such as optional nutrition snapshot and goals) is sent to Google so Google Gemini can return analysis. Copies of face images and scan records may also be stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS) (object storage and databases) so history can persist on your device ID. We do not otherwise share face data with third parties except if required by law or to protect users and the App.
Retention. We retain face images and derived scores while they are needed to provide scan history, streaks, and progress in the App, and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, security, and legal compliance. After a verified deletion request (see below), we delete or irreversibly de-identify face data in our systems within 30 days, except where a shorter or longer period is required by law. Google and AWS may retain residual copies for their own documented backup and security windows after we request deletion.
3. Deletion and revoking consent
Revoke consent. You can refuse or later turn off AI sharing in Settings. If you deny or revoke that permission, we will not send new face photos to Google Gemini, and Face Scan analysis will be unavailable until you allow sharing again. You can also revoke camera and photo-library access in iOS Settings at any time; the App will then be unable to capture or pick new face images.
Delete face data. To delete your face photos, derived scores, and related scan history from our systems, email color6wrld@gmail.com from a message that identifies your installation (include the device or account identifier shown in the App if available, or a description of when you used Face Scan). We will delete stored face images and associated analysis records we control, and we will request deletion from processors where that is supported. Deleting the App from your device does not by itself erase copies already stored in our cloud; you must send a deletion request for that.
4. Third-party protection of face data
Face data shared with Google (Gemini API) and AWS is processed under their terms, privacy policies, and data processing / security commitments. We require that these processors protect face data with the same or equal protection as described in this Privacy Policy: confidentiality, use limited to providing the requested analysis or storage, no sale of your face data, and security measures appropriate to the nature of the data. Google’s practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy and in Google Cloud / Gemini API terms. AWS practices are described at aws.amazon.com/privacy. If a processor cannot meet that standard, we will not use it for face data.
How we use information
- To operate core features: face and meal analysis, daily logging, streaks, and AI routine plans.
- To store media and history in our cloud infrastructure (for example AWS S3 and DynamoDB) so progress can persist across sessions.
- To manage subscriptions, send optional reminders, fix bugs, secure the App, and comply with law when required.
Service providers
Google Gemini. AI analysis and planning may rely on Google’s Gemini models. Content you submit for a generation request is transmitted subject to Google’s terms and privacy practices.
AWS. We may store user records, daily logs, subscription metadata, and media objects using Amazon Web Services in the region(s) we operate.
RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Firebase, Expo. Purchases, store platforms, analytics, and push delivery may process limited technical data under their own policies.
Retention
We retain account/device-linked data and media as needed to provide history, streaks, and plans, or until you request deletion where applicable. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request or meet legal obligations. AI providers and infrastructure partners may retain data for their own retention periods—see their documentation.
Security
We use industry-standard practices reasonable for the size and nature of the App. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; use the App only on devices you trust.
Children
DeBloatAI is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). Do not use the App if you are under that age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Your choices
- AI sharing permission. Before we send personal data (including face photos) to Google Gemini, the App asks you to allow or deny that sharing. You can change this later in Settings. If you deny, we will not send your photos or plan context to Gemini, and AI scan/plan features will be unavailable until you allow sharing.
- Face data deletion. Email color6wrld@gmail.com to delete stored face photos and derived scores. See Face data for retention, sharing, and how to revoke consent.
- You can stop using the App at any time and revoke camera, photo, motion, or notification permissions in device settings.
- Do not upload images of others without permission, or content you are not allowed to share.
- You can disable push reminders in the App settings where available.
International users
If you use the App from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed in other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The new effective date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or store listing where practical.
